Hello friends! As we move into October the gulls have been arriving and there have been a smattering of ducks out on the lake. Robins, jay, and yellow-rumped warbler flocks seem to grow in size every day. I’ve added a coat to my ensemble and found a leash for my phone after dropping it in the lake last week. Change is a given.

Your little white flowers are a Symphyotrichum sp. You might be able to compare them on iNat to figure out which. I always have a hard time with them.
I enjoyed this. And that is kind of an amazing photo of a chimney swift in flight. Well done!
