How did we get to Friday already?!? This week has been a whirlwind. I have 3000 unprocessed photos I haven’t been able to get to yet, all from the last 10 days. Yet all I really want is to take an entire day to just be still. Or maybe a week. Or a month. Spring just moves so fast, and it’s just getting ramped up.
Nonetheless, I have some moments of beauty to share with you! Hope you enjoy:

Tulips in my neighbor’s yard - so vibrant!
A tiny patch of tulips, but such unique colors. Tulips are my favorite flower!
The winds have been blowing outside, almost a mirror of how it feels inside my head. Can you see how windy it is in the clouds?
At purple martin headquarters, the real estate wars have begun.
I’m not sure who chooses the home, but it seems to be the males that defend it from other males and females.
This female will have to find another nest box.
I just love the color or the males though, so rich.
Occasionally it’s still for a moment though, like this pre-sunrise shot from April 8th. Blue got to the dock before I did and he wasn’t altogether happy I showed up.
There are still loons passing through, though they haven’t come in for photos in a while. Maybe if I post this bow to them, one will come in and grace me with its presence.

I told them the other humans were coming down anyway, so they decided to find a quieter location.
They went back to hang out with the cormorant.
