Hello friends! I’m feeling pleasantly exhausted tonight as I write this - is that a thing? I’ve been letting myself sleep in all week because my body is telling me I need just a little extra, which makes sense right now when days are long and nights are short. A lot has gotten done, and I still feel the need for rest.

Water is on my mind tonight so today’s drops will all focus on water. In particular, the water lit up before and after sunrise on May 29, 2024. It had all of my attention that day! I’ve added other photos that include water (from different days!). Hope you enjoy!

I didn’t get any visits from American avocets this spring, one of my favorite birds to photograph in the water. This is from April 2023.

It seems fitting to end with one of my favorite things, a feather floating on the water.
