Hello friends! This edition is dedicated to my sweet dad, in honor of his 80th birthday this week! Beauty only partially seen but fully felt describes how I feel about my dad.

This time of year itâs so easy for birds to hide in the bushes! I was so close to this great-crested flycatcher but he never agreed to pop out for a clear photo.
The young robins donât hide too much though, they are all about the worms.
This chickadee popped out long enough to snag a berry! Such tiny berries but they are a mouthful if you are a tiny bird.
Donât let me disturb you young mallards.

Look at my purple and blue colors!
Now watch as I shift to blue! Grackles are like mood rings.
And goldfinches are like little drops of sunshine.
Killdeer preening feathers while standing on a feather!
And look how gorgeous those feathers are!
There was just barely enough sun to create a rainbow!
