Hello friends! It was a short week but it still got the better of me and I am ready for a slower weekend. Here are some favorite photos for today:

In contrast, this was a cool morning with fog dancing from the water. Sunrise, September 4, 2024.
The goldfinch don’t seem to care much if it’s hot or cool, just give them a field of wildflowers and they are happy!

Indigo buntings are still hanging around, singing from the treetops.
Chimney swift had something to say! The swirl of chimney swifts has been growing larger each day.
Swirling boomerangs in the sky. It’s still fun to try and take their photos, though I just realized why my neck hurts tonight!

I love these peaceful images, Karen (and the energetic ones, too!)! Maybe the baby swallow just knows you love him, and therefore wants you to be his part-time mom?!
