Hello friends! This is the last post of 2024. Although my brain would prefer tonation mode, it had to contend with going remain in hiber back to work instead. The sun barely managed to show itself before the clouds closed it in on Monday, so you’re going to see a few pictures from the sunrise that produced - might as well start today!

I think it’s the junco’s cheekiness that makes them so adorable.

I’m loving all the bluebirds this year!

All the birds love the same trees. Junco, cedar waxwing, and bluebird.

I turned this one upside down just for Lauren, because she’s right, it is really interesting when you turn it over! (ice)

When you just want to play but your goldeneye friends all fly away.

A few minutes later when the double heart appeared. I can also see a full butterfly in this one. Such glorious clouds.

Secret pathway all lit up in the fairy forest.

You can catch a fish…

…but you might have some company.

First time I’ve seen one get landed on so completely! (ring-billed gulls)

Just like 2024, this one is hanging on by a thread.

May 2025 be full of kindness, connection, and love.
