Astonishingly beautiful as always, Karen, and I share your mysterious belief in a guide. One of my favorite Celtic poets wrote about the concept of a guide in a way I've never forgotten. I'm pasting it below for you to enjoy in case you haven't seen it. <3

"There is a special shelter around every person. One of the things that all children should be taught when they are growing up is that there is a shelter around them, but that they won’t feel the shelter if they don’t expect it and if they don’t know that it is there. That shelter is the shelter of your soul, it is the shelter of your Divinity and it is the shelter of your angel. I know that angels are back in fashion now, and a lot of the thinking about angels is very soft thinking. I feel that there is given to each of us an angel’s spirit to shelter and protect us and mind us. If you don’t think that spirit is beside you, then you may never feel its presence, but if you do begin to tune into it and become aware of it, you will be astounded at the gentleness, the encouragement and the inspiration that your angel will bring you." ~John O’Donohue

This is so heartening, Karen! Thank you for listening to your body, for staying with that tremor-release of long-stored tension, trauma, grief. And for sharing the story plus your always beautiful photos with us. May your guides continue to help you listen within and release all that is blocking you. Hugs and a big blessing to you!

I believe! I love synchronistic events or what some do call "God Winks"!

Wow....just wow....so many messages here that I relate to. The 45 minutes body releasing is astounding to me and the fact that you had enough accumulated wisdom to stay present and open to it, brings tears. I woke this morning wondering what this feeling was of waves of deep exhaustion were after a long nights sleep and the thought came that it was grief. Deep grief. And your sharing here is one of my god winks to help me have a deeper understanding and acceptance of my body's response to it all...all of me and my life and all of the world and its process. And having said all of that...thank you, thank you.

Love this post. Such a powerful reminder that our body knows best if we can just slow down enough and create the safe space for healing to happen. ❤️

Wonderful account of your body releasing - may it continue! And here's another little synchronicity for you: I read this today, right after I listened to Jeffrey Rustein's podcast "Your Body Holds the Relief You've Been Searching For" all about deepening our awareness IN our bodies and allowing our body to release old traumas and tensions. Yes!
