I thought of Michael Martin Murphy’s song from the 70’s titled “Wildfire.” I just read that the song was based on Native American tradition. That a woman died in a blizzard searching for her pony, while very sad, to me demonstrates the strength, commitment, and dedication many women, past and present, possess.
