Karen I enjoy your photographs and commentary more and more each day. The natural world is full of examples of freedom that our constricted political world and the urban congestion all around us could learn much from. Thank you for noticing it all and helping your followers to do the same. A peaceful way to start the day.
This is beautifully written, Karen. Thank you for sharing your struggles, journey, and truth with honesty and intention. Love versus hate is powerful, indeed.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I agree. I've just been to my Dr and now have to have another test because my body is not doing well. I'm encouraged by your images and word pictures of the body's systems and am less upset. It's middle of winter here in Peramangk Country (south Australia), cold and wet but we need the 🌧️! I hope you are enjoying your summer Karen 😄❤️
Thanks for sharing Karen. Your act of sharing to those of us you have never met, is in itself an act of freedom. I am happy to be a recipient of your thoughts, feelings and opinions. I salute your courage to be vulnerable and freely express yourself. Love may be the ultimate answer but I believe it begins with courage which for me, is always found in the heart.
Lovely pictures and thoughts Karen. May the road disruption bring a few more unexpected treats like the Pileated Woodpeckers. I am depending on the cycles and pendulums of change to see us right through this disturbing time. And oh yes, all the great gifts of nature, too! It was air that saved me once. And that awareness has never left me.
Simply beautiful images of dragonflies, Karen! They seem quite comfortable posing and being patient! Lovely final image of the Eastern Bluebird as well - thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Karen! You see the beauty of this world and bring a message of peace. We as a people, much like a body, need sunlight, fresh air, comfort and nourishment, and not more force or disruption. I’m sorry about all the road construction—none of us are immune this year! Thanks for sharing such lovely pictures!
A beautifully wrought and inspiring commentary for this holiday that begs deep reflection on finding a gentle path to healing our common ills. As usual, nature holds many clues.

Thank you Robyn. I hope the results of the tests are clear and that healing is as easy as possible.
I loved reading this, and chuckled at the grackles, who apparently have their own issues. Thank you.
Lol, grackles definitely have their own issues and they let everyone know about it! Thank you!

This is so beautiful how you manage to talk about the lake, your body and society. I love the Martin Luther King quote. Love is the only way
Thank you Cali
