I really loved this episode! I liked that you included the weight and wingspan for each bird friend. I hope that your back has improved! It must have been so frustrating for the day of the triathlon to be the day when both Terns arrived!

I agree about photography in the summer, the light is always through a haze and it feels like it flattens the images. I’ve been pretty bummed about it, and sunsets are just starting to show their beauty after months of nothing to get excited about…

Thank you for sharing your journey!

Very nice Karen--great shots of the terns!!! We have a few showing up in the area--an Arctic Tern at a pond south of Tucson and an Elegant at Reid Park right in the middle of Tucson! There's a "Cave House" just down the road (at 5500 feet in elevation) and my tomatoes are just coming in on the vine if you ever want to visit us... Might turn up a tern or two as well....

Hi Karen. Sorry to hear that you back is playing you up. I hope it heals quickly. When my back complains, there is usually a lesson in it for me. Lots of love and take care x

I love watching the terns gather in flocks on the beach in Sanibel. Sometimes there are hundreds of them and they all sit facing the same direction in this eerie way that makes you think they know something that you don’t, but will find out soon enough! Hope you’re finding peace in your cool basement corner!
