Here’s some news from our part of the world. I videoed a ruffed grouse sneaking across our narrow country lane this week. It’s only 45 minutes of exciting ruffed grouse action, but enough to make a hardcore enthusiast want more. Sometimes when they walk so slowly, I wonder if they forgot what they are doing.
The best news is the second batch of quail babies this year are flying. From fuzz balls to seasoned pilots in six weeks!
