I once heard laughter is the best medicine. I think we all need one of those belly laughs. One time my girlfriend and I were in a giddy mood. We went in a hallmark store and while reading some funny birthday cards we were laughing so hard tears were streaming down our faces. People were staring at us like we were crazy. Some people laughed with us. When we got back into the car we found that our makeup had run down our faces like war paint. I now know what the people were laughing at. LOL
My best friend since college days 50 years ago and I laugh like that any time we are together. It doesn't take much to set us off, and then everything is hysterical! Laughter really is so healing and cathartic. Even sometimes in the midst of tragedy. (I'm thinking of Mary Tyler Moore at the funeral of Chuckles the Clown.)
I just love that so much! Yes, in the midst of tragedty. I think every funeral I've been too there's some moment where we are laughing and it's so needed. And omg, I remember that MTM episode!
"A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down the pants!" ;-) And if you can't share a laugh at a loved one's funeral, you probably didn't know the person that well. Laughter binds us together and helps us remember the best of times amid our sorrow and loss.

That is awesome! Thank you for sharing it and making me laugh!
This orchid picture reminds me of O'Keeffe's flower paintings. So gorgeous :)
Thank you Kamna!
What a fabulous photo. And a great reminder to laugh and have fun. I don't think I laugh enough. Thanks for the reminder
Thank you! And me too, I am way too serious too much of the time. It's literally on my "habit tracker" to laugh more.

I love this, Lauren! It's so true!! And I, too, remember that MTM episode - it was hilarious and fabulous!
