Swallows, especially barn swallows, hold a special place in me--many years ago I wrote in my first book that I gauge my life by the swallows that their seasonal comings and goings not only make me feel the weight of time, but they cue me to the passage of time. Thanks for reminding me of this with your enthusiasm for these wonderful birds...

Swallows were.at my monastery in the mountains of Korea and they're also up at River Sky! Totem birds for me! Wonderful issue!
