Beautiful!!!! Sounds like a perfect relaxing start to your morning!! ❤️😍👍 I have a beautiful picture of Gianna and Keira as toddler/baby playing with dandelions in the grass❤️😍 one of our favorites….
We are jealous of your cool weather as we are having early heat wave (triple digits) that usually get here in July/August☀️☀️☀️
Oh I love that Sharon (the pictures of them playing with dandelions, not the heat!). Don't be too jealous, it's supposed to hit 100 here today too and heat indexes in triple digits. So yeah.
Oh my… sorry you’re getting our heat… oh well it’s summertime… I’ll just have to try to go swimming in between chauffeur duties for granddaughters… Aliya is at an art camp this week… I hope she loves it❤️ Her softball team got runner up at her championship tournament… so she got a ring too👍🥎
Oh Karen. This is just beautiful! I am do grateful to have met Dandelion and to have been reminder of his life lessons. I especially love your comparison of the two of you. I, for one, think you are both bright, beautiful and lovely! A new favorite 😀. Thank you so much!
Karen, I appreciate your dandelion imagery. Yet, I can't help but think about how dandelions seemingly make carbon copies of themselves endlessly. You, though, are one of a kind who through your beautiful posts continue to lead us out of our one-color world into the true world of endless beauty. Thanks for being you and for all that you do!
I'll never look at dandelions the same way again. (I say this as my son-in-law is whacking them down with the weed-eater in his back yard...yep, very brief lives they live.)
Just beautiful, Karen. Your photos and reflections are the perfect complement to my quiet Sunday morning porch time. Thank you for sharing your perspective on the world.
"We are not so different, Dandelion and I. We are both impermanent and ever-changing, our lives so brief in the grand scheme of things. We are both sometimes considered “weeds” by those who can’t see our beauty. We both open with gentle encouragement when we aren’t trampled or mowed over. With a little luck, we both provide nourishment to others in our world."
I read about you and Dandelion while sitting at the base of my favourite oak tree, leaning against it. You have stilled my mind and now I can also take in the moment. Lots of love xx
Such tenderness in today's reflections. Your grandpa's message brought tears to my eyes as I remembered my own grandfather with such deep affection. I lost him way too soon when I was 14. Mr. Blue Jay did make me laugh in his "wet clothes!" Made me think of Beatrix Potter's "Tom Kitten" whose mother was always exasperated because as soon as she got him in a clean new suit, he'd go out to play and become a mess again! Some little boys just never learn! :-) Sunday Blessings, Karen.
I love the note from your Grandpa❤️😍

Ah Uncle Bill, thank you for the lovely comments. And who knows, maybe if we go to know dandelions we would discover they are all unique too?
Absolutely lovely! Thank you!
Thank you Alison

:) Yay for dandelions! Thank you Ken
Beautiful!
A wonderful storybook 📖 is in your future, both children and adults alike would be joyful to read your prose.
Such lovely photos and thoughtful pondering among wildlife and friendly foliage 🌼🌱
Thank you Terra
