Oh Karen that quote~ yesterday was a horrific day~ I just came out of a pancreatitis flare for 8 days and then woke up with a kidney infection. Saw my Dr. First thing~ and test confirmed~ kary and I got into the car~ and I started to cry~ I was relieved and scared why would kary after 35 years want to retire to take care of me? I have been telling myself~ I finally said it~ she said in sickness and in health ~ that’s it I love you~ I was so grateful for her~ after resting I sat in my recliner and here comes a baby hummingbird ~ I watch the two of them~ and their mom or dad~ I thought of you Karen and the love I have developed for birds and it’s because of you~so thank you it took my mind off my pain and I thanked God for you too~ I love all the pictures this morning ❤️
Oh Catherine, first I'm sending out a huge hug to you and Kary. Illness and pain are so (SO) hard. I love Kary's love and I love you accepting it. And I love that you could sit in that moment and find wonder and love in the baby hummingbird. ❤️ Thank you deeply for your kindness. I wish you so many moments of joy and love. ❤️
