Hello friends! Today I’m revisiting spring migration. Spring migration goes so fast and there are always little joys I don’t get to share before we are well into summer. I love little tiny sandpipers for many reasons, among them that they will usually hang out with me on the dock. I love to watch them run up and down on those tiny little legs, listen to them talk to each other, and look at the incredibly intricate detail in their feathers.

I always want to share back. Yesterday we unexpectedly saw two pairs of sandhill cranes that aren’t usually around this time of year. (Once you learn their call, you always know when they are around.)
