Sometimes it does! I understand that quote now - if the clouds are approaching from the west at sunrise you get the best colors, but that could mean an incoming storm. If they are moving east at sunset they are usually moving away. Most storms here go west to east (or southwest to north east or northwest to southeast). Sometimes it just means clouds though! These were incoming rain.
Love the warmth that emanates from those opening sunrises. Just what I need to chase away the chill of our first frosty morning. I do wonder how those Franklin gulls can find enough food for ALL of them. Is there a birdy fast food fly-thru nearby? Spent a good bit of time thinking about the unique body of a butterfly as I looked at how it can hang by its toes with such ease! Not to worry about editing the video. It will happen when you and it meet in that just right moment. I so enjoyed this post!

Yes… it’s either feast or famine 🤷♀️. We’re getting a break this afternoon but more forecast for overnight and tomorrow☔️💦… and then the temperatures drop… but warms up the week after that 👍
