Fall leaves backlit by the sun
Can’t believe this was a month ago already! There are still some fall leaves hanging on, believe it or not.
All those bright colors are giving way to the grays of winter.

I think the Franklin’s gulls have all departed now. They always brighten my day with their energy. Plenty of ring-billed gulls coming in for winter.
That one red leaf hanging on to its color.
Little mr. wood duck brightens up any scene.
Flickers also provide a pop of color. And always some noise, lol.
Haven’t seen an egret in a while either. For a white bird, they definitely are colorful.

Maybe the loons will hang around a while.
Meanwhile, I will look for the glimmers wherever I can find them.
