Beautiful photos Karen. I can almost 'hear' that Carolina Wren calling from that photo. I love the timing you capture of that Northern Flicker with their wings spread like that - amazing.

Beautiful pictures… love your “doorway to somewhere” ❤️😍. Our Bradfords now have all leaves and flowers are gone .. same for most of the redbuds… seeing more tulips and roses now on our walks in Leslie’s neighborhood 👍❤️😍🌷🌹🌳

Absolutely perfect flicker photo, but you know me, I’m a regular Orville and Wilbur Wright when it comes to bird aerodynamics.

:) Thank you Switter! Right now I think you are probably working hard enough on staying balanced with two feet on the ground, no need to go flying.

lol, well in space everyone can fly. Down here on earth we have to respect gravity!

Spring is similar in New England, a teaser warmth and then winter is back. At least it is not dark early. Birdsong and geese honking overhead and 3 to 5 inches snow with ice forecast tonight. Today's bird pictures really hit my heart, thank you

Beautiful photos to start my day!

One extra smile will make it even better.

Love the “ doorway to somewhere.”

I always think the same.

Here in Vermont , winter will not relinquish to spring. Waiting from a big snowstorm ,off to go skiing…

House finches making their nest in the tree outside our bedroom window. The mourning doves cooing again first thing in the morning. And, yes, all the birds are LOUD right now, even on the days when it’s winter again.
