Yes..so many types of weather here too…today was 39 degrees when I got up🥶 and was very windy yesterday after the rains had moved thru… but it’s sunny today and might make it to 60 degrees this afternoon 👍☀️. Spring is: Keira has middle school track and field… her events are long jump and running the 200… Aliya had a triple and a home run in her select team’s softball game last weekend …Gianna just made Jr Varsity cheer squad after tryouts for next year and her high school softball this spring she plays right field and designated hitter….Carmella was in a musical theater play last week and had a lot of dialogue to memorize…she did great ….Aliya and Keira have cheerleading tryouts soon 7th and 8th grade squads respectively….Keira just had tryouts for 8th grade soccer team for fall team….Keira and Aliya are both still on swim team so meets coming this spring……yes… it’s all about the granddaughters and I’m loving it😂❤️👍… so that catches you up on your cousin’s kiddos Karen❤️😍👍
Talk about everything, all at once! They are amazing and so busy! I'm so glad you get to be there for all these things. Love you! Thanks for the update!
How does the box elder have a single leaf left on it, after the wind and rains of this time of year? The magic of nature and Dr. Seuses! ✨😃 Happened to see a short video of a little boy and a crow today on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's substack that I thought you might get a smile from. https://youtu.be/d1iQYXcG7Nk
Those are boxelder flowers, all right! And yes, they are quite Seussian. Fun! Lovely photos, all, and it's especially a treat to see so much water as we're dry here in the high desert where water is scarcer than usual. Thank you!
Some of life spoke to me today through you. I loved the heron overflight. Why is he Rick James? And I too can never get enough of flickers in flight.
Thanks again, Karen. You’re the best.
Thank you. I don’t know why Rick James. Maybe because I live in a jazz town and the old fisherman I think are jazz fans.
Well, a heron named Rick James is really cool and that’s good enough.
Here as well, rain again this week. Last week was beautiful.
Spring is so moody
Yes, she is. Love her.
We are back and forth also! Yes! Slowly please! Still chilly and rainy but 🌸🌸🌸🩷
If only I could slow things down!
Spring is springing so beautifully there, thanks for sharing!
Thanks Sydney
