“Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet.” - Thich Nhat Hanh
Hello friends! We made it through the storms with a lot of water but no other issues, for which I am grateful. The lake has gone from as low as I had seen it in a long while to as high as I have seen it in a while. It looks like it’s at least 3-4 feet higher than last week. I have lots of photos, even after not taking any photos for four days - and songbird migration is just starting!
Here are my choices for today:
May your week be peaceful!

The blue winged teal in flight is perfect and the little warbler getting ready to swallow the caterpillar is, well, interesting.
Have you used a free app called BirdNET that lets you record bird songs and can help identify the bird that is singing? I just downloaded it onto my phone and will try it this week. It says it will work with the built-in microphone, but I am going to see if a Bluetooth directional microphone might be available. It would be worth it just to record meadowlarks!
Nice captures...I especially liked the flying teal shot - beautiful! And that warbler...what a great personality!
