“At any moment you have a choice that either leads you closer to your spirit or away from it.” - Thich Nhat Hanh
Hello friends! How’s your week going? Mine is starting off busier than I would like, whew. I have a request too! I try to find a quote to put at the top of these posts and after almost 200 of them, I’m running low on material! Do you have any quotes or poems that might fit these posts well? If so, post them in the comments or email me! (PS - this is a perpetual request, anytime you see or think of one I’d love to hear them!)
Here are some photo choices for today:
I’m hoping my week slows down and hoping you all find some ease and space in your days as well.

Quote from Joanna Macy..."The heart that breaks open can hold the whole world."
Karen, your photos, so full of awe & wonder, can break a heart wide open as one contemplates Climate Change and our witting or unwitting destructive behavior. To think we are ushering in a "Silent Spring" breaks my heart wide open. Indeed so wide that I must figure out the best way to take action. Thank you Karen.
From Francis Bacon, “He that does not apply new remedies must expect new evils, for time is the great innovator.
Also from him is: Natural abilities are like natural plants, they need pruning by study.
Teresa of Avila- All things must come from its roots where it is planted. The tree that is beside the running water is fresher and produces more fruit.
