Dragonflies migrate? Now I need to find out where and how long they live.

Thank you, Karen, for another beautiful interlude.

I know some of them do. Green Darner's for instance. I have once or twice seen a big "flock" of them and it's very cool.

Your beautiful photos and commentaries make me more observant of what's around me here in Tokyo. I'm very grateful to you for that!

When I was little and learning about birds, I thought mourning doves were morning doves, and puzzled about why I heard them in the evening in Western Michigan in my small rural home town. I love their coos, and miss hearing them in Central Texas.

I love that! I didn't know they weren't in central Texas either. When I was a kid I thought killdeer were roadrunners. :)

Oh all of your wonderful pics and Lao Tzu, too. Heavenly! Your light on the water video would be a perfect screen saver and with sound track. It transported me to a favorite waterside spot. And yes it does provide a cleansing of ones being. A true treasure. Many thank yous!

I love the little blue-grey gnatcatcher! But all of them are splendid. A peaceful piece, just like the season (except in Florida!)

Could you hear the flowers sighing in joy? Pedals washed ,leaves breathing again, roots greedily drinking, seemingly looking up and smiling at the sun.

Although the days have been dry and sunny here is VT, I always take notice of that film of dirt that covers their world. Our world of green is waiting for a collective , ah….

So many gorgeous scenes today. If I had to choose, it would be the ‘chattering’ Kingfishers flying together in what looks to be the break of day.
