Hello friends! We had a nice, soaking rain this weekend and it was so needed. My little hummingbird friends seem to have stuck around through the cold front, there were two chasing each other today. After three morning walks in the rain I’m eager to see what birds might show up tomorrow!

When I was little and learning about birds, I thought mourning doves were morning doves, and puzzled about why I heard them in the evening in Western Michigan in my small rural home town. I love their coos, and miss hearing them in Central Texas.
Oh all of your wonderful pics and Lao Tzu, too. Heavenly! Your light on the water video would be a perfect screen saver and with sound track. It transported me to a favorite waterside spot. And yes it does provide a cleansing of ones being. A true treasure. Many thank yous!
