You are a breath of fresh air, Karen. I really need a breath of fresh air this week. And also, you are starting to think like me about bird aerodynamics. I feel so thrilled I had a little influence there.
If someone sketched the trim lines of that Cooper's hawk, people might say, Oh that's not realistic. Those wings are too straight, and no bird is that stealthy. Hah! Do love that opening hot pink sunrise. I swear I see movement in the water below it. And yes, I would like a jacket in those perfect fall blue bird colors. Preferably a jacket with wings. Thank you for reminding me to look for the local beauty near by. Will do!
Thank you Karen for your photos, and the thunderstorm video, showcasing the beauty in your area. Your images and captions remind us fall migration is well underway, likely to end as Winter sets in. Thanks so much for your posts such as these today.
I love your Bluebird friend. I thought of ‘The Blue Bird of Happiness’ and wanted to add the song. So I did a quick dive in searching for the right words. Well, I was delighted to find so much more;

You have totally got me thinking that way, lol! I love it! Just one more thing to be curious about! Thank you Switter.
Airplanes are derivatives; birds are miracles!
And airplanes still haven't achieved what birds can do!
Self refuel, build copies of themselves, build their own hangars, self repair, etc.&etc.
I have already found something beautiful- these photos! Congrats to Sharon the Lion-Hearted!
Thank you Linda!
I did find something beautiful on my walk today. Lovely, flat stepping stones into a garden. It almost looks fake, but I could take you there today.
I love this! I can't see the photo, probably permissions, but I love that you found them and shared it with me!
