Hello friends! It’s been raining all day here (on Monday as I’m writing this). A long, soaking rain. Even though it is still raining, the sky suddently turned completely golden just before sunset. I’m so lucky I have a job where I can see this out the window and run out side to get a good look at the sky.
It’s clearing to the west. The wind is blowing hard enough they issued a high wind warning. A lot more leaves will be on the ground in the morning. The wind will bring cold air and I finally decided it might be time to put the winter blanket on the bed. I'm making a nice cup of herbal chai tea to drink with the roasted mushrooms and green beans for dinner. These little things feel so decadent tonight.
Today I’m focusing on big skies and small pleasures - but then, I seem to do that a lot! Here are some choices for today:
