Hello friends! I’m calling this the finale but I reserve the right to add an epilogue for ice because I still have so many lovely ice photos! Author’s prerogative, right? The ducks are on the move now, with migrants passing through at increasing rates and though I got some new ice photos on February 18th (featured here today), I imagine we’ve probably seen the last for this year. Never fear though, ducks may make an appearance all year long!
Without further ado, here are today’s offerings:

A duck I rarely see who never really came close enough, but the nearest duck in this photo is a male red-breasted merganser.

…water comes up. I loved watching how the bottom of those ice formations alternated from light to dark with every movement of the water.
