Wonderful! So glad that you are enjoying the beautiful spring birds. I have a tiny bird outside my kitchen window. They built a nest that looks like a sock! He doesn’t like that we are in the kitchen and he knocks on my window to ask me to keep it down, he’s got a family to raise 🙏💗
I was able to see all the photos so more of a threatening warning than an outright ultimatum from Subtrack. Spring on the west coast has been very uncooperative and unruly until now, with 'now' suddenly and explosively arriving in full force and color. Such fun reading your week of ever expanding bird sightings and your accompanying musing on them.
I was able to see the entire post… beautiful photos and info about the various birds ❤️😍👍. Happy Easter… FYI Barbara and Dennis are back east visiting Daughter and family so we are having “traditional” Davis Easter dinner…. Honey baked ham, scalloped potatoes, deviled eggs etc at Adrienne’s house today😍❤️👍. Remembering all our family dinners with our Missouri family… great memories…love you ❤️❤️❤️
Karen, your photos are nothing short of exhilarating! I once took a natural history course in my undergrad days, and I fell in love with looking for, and identifying, all the birds around me. You've got some serious skill!
It is Alexa! I am really trying to figure out how to translate that feeling I have out looking for surprise in nature (wonderful) to being ok with surprises in the rest of my life where I seem to anticipate them to be "negative"!
I learn so much about birds from your posts, Karen ... thank you. Happy Spring to you!
Thank you Jeanne
Oh my, Karen, the night heron's eye says so much.
Thank you Janisse

Spring is so full of surprises, isn't it? It's what I love most about this time of year.
