Such a lovely piece. Your fight for hope gave me hope. And the thought of the bugs coming give me further hope, although here in Mumbai it's the same weather all through the year!

Living in Florida, one tends to take the coming of Spring for granted. Every day is Spring cum Summer. Thank you for sharing your perspective of gratitude and optimism on seasonal death-to-life where winters are so harsh. It invites deep empathy in many contexts.
