Ahh, big sky! Yes, I'm drawn to your water pictures because they always extend that glorious sky. Your lake photos are always just stunning.

Nothing like big wide open sky and rainbows, sunsets and sun rising to fill up and expand the heart, lungs and spirit mind. If only we had wings to take to the sky.

Living in a second floor apartment I look at the sky and tops of the trees now and have an expansive view of the sky to the north and west and it is a beautiful thing❤️❤️🐴😍👍👍 and when I walk or drive by the golf course 2 blocks away I have a huge beautiful western exposure ❤️😍👍

We too had some rain on Thursday evening and though it was brief, the wind kicking up and thunder was glorious. We're back to record temps again today and no rain.

Oh Misti, I have cousins and an Aunt in the Dallas area so I know it has just been miserable. After just one week I was really thinking of you all and how I don't know if I could handle three months of it. I continue to pray for rain and cooler temps for you all.

Beautiful photos as always- but that rainbow one is truly spectacular! So glad it has cooled off a little. Honestly I do not think I could tolerate those temps with humidity. This morning when I headed out on my walk it was 13 C (55 F.)

Thank you Oriah. I can tell you I can't tolerate those temps and I am ever so grateful for working air conditioning.

Totally "sky-and-water" people, too! And for the same reasons. Water mirrors in color and mood the magnificent sky as if in admiration. Instead of being intimidating, I find the sky to be comforting and embracing, and it lifts my mood even on a gloomy/cloudy day.
