I love the idea of the year coming around again and last year's story making sense in a new way. I have definitely had this experience! They key for me now is to learn to wait for it, and trust it will come.
Reading your words about the tapestry of nature and how you have been weaving stories together makes me think about the way my life does, and does not, weave into the natural world. More common threads are needed.
The photo of the oriole's nest is incredible -- how did you capture that?! Wow. Also ... "no demarcation line that says that was spring, this is summer" .... so true! I love how you express that.
Beautiful descriptive writing Karen and gorgeous photos! As an artist I feel a bit frantic trying to absorb and take in all spring has to offer! lol She just marches on too quickly, never slowing down for those who want to soak in her beauty a bit longer. xx
The tree swallow with the indeed, very large feather gave me an ah oh moment! I can't recall ever having seen a bird carrying such a large feather, a whole new perception high in the sky for me.
Just when I fear that the chaos in the world has gotten the upper hand, these breathtaking images and
the tapestry of nature reassures me that all is not lost and renews my hope and joy! Thank you for a Trinity Sunday "sermon" preached by creation itself.

Oh...yes! Waiting and trusting are two things I have to work at a LOT.

More common threads are needed, for certain.

Thank you - I'm glad I'm not the only one! Spring IS frantic.

Usually I see them with much smaller feathers, but they were taking feathers from below the eagle's nest so I guess they knew what they were doing!
I love your close-ups of things and creatures I know but have never seen in such detail -- thank you.
Thank you Jessica. I love both the big wide skies and the tiny details.
Tapestry…it all connects and flows. You’ve captured it wonderfully. Thanks Karen! ❤️
Thank you Daniel
