I love your first day of spring observations! Can’t wait to see your works unfold this season

We're expecting four feet of snow this week. I've started playing birdsong on the speakers in the morning to keep my spirits up 😂

I love the idea that the birds migrating later is not "behind schedule," just...later. I'm trying to apply this kind of thinking more to my life as well :)

Also, my mom's birthday is the same as your mom's and grandfather's <3

Just later. Indeed. I need to apply it to mine too - I takes the time that it takes. Love to you and your mom!

How do you always manage to capture the essence of a season -- its feeling tone -- so well? In both words and images. Thank you!

Ha ha - she was so surprised. So busy in her own world she hadn't noticed me! :)

We still have rain here today and if you can believe it, I continue to enjoy it, along with the fact that for now, the drought seems to be an issue for another time. But this week has some sunny days forecasted and my trees have blossoms, so we are moving toward spring. Sending you healing thoughts as you move through this special week with your loved ones near and far. 💜

It will be interesting to see how we all evolve to be better able to work with the water when it comes and when it doesn't. I can't believe the mountains of snow I'm seeing from parts of CA! Thank you Sue.

I know. It's incredible!

Great! Inspiring. I have heard the doves talking up a storm here on the front range of Colorado. I have seen lots of hawks and ravens flying solo, but I have yet to see a red-winged black bird, or even a robin. We have had a dry March after a wet February. It FEELS like an early spring but without birds, I am doubtful.

Ah thank you. It will come so fast.

Really looking forward to hearing loons at the usual spots this summer, I hope.

Always always always. I pray all the time for the loons, I can't imagine a world without them.

A lot of loons winter at Lake Jocassee in South Carolina, about 20 minutes from where I live. They're getting ready to leave and head your way!

Oh that's so amazing! It's hard to describe what it's like watching loons. They dive and you never know where they will come up - or if they will just disappear into the ether. I'd dearly love to watch them underwater!
