The way you look at things is heartwarming, inspiring, and makes me forget the pain I feel. I'm thankful for you, and hope you always see with your heart the way you do now!!!
I don't know if you're interested in this, but I thought of you immediately when I saw that winking owl! :D
We feel the very front edge of the change of seasons. August here has been blessed by four or five days of rain, so we made it through the month without any wildfires in our neck of the woods.
Your "dilemma" is exactly why I've been an avid student of Jung's theory of personality type which evolved into a formal system known as Myers-Briggs by a very intuitive and insightful mother/daughter team, which says we all have a preferred way of using our brains in both the inner and outer world. I, too, struggle with perfectionist detail and have often (mis)judged myself as being hyper-critical and judgmental. (But the fact that we can catch ourselves in the act and question our thoughts is inherently healthy. Sometimes we ARE being those things, but not always.) I've come to realize that I'm hard-wired to see and feel things deeply at all levels -- physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The result can be OVERWHELM! And that's when we're up nights wishing we could count dragonflies instead of sheep! Everything matters so intensely, and I also can get like a dog with a bone and not let it go. But the freedom and profound acceptance of nature tells me, I'm OK; you're OK; it's all more than OK. As Dan just said, it is a superpower that at times we misconstrue as a curse or weirdness. On the contrary, it's a gift and a blessing. We just have to learn how to "rein the horses" so they don't run away with us! ;-)
One of my favs, this one! Thank you for paying attention to and sharing the details, the beauty and grandeur most of us simply pass by. It is a Superpower you have and I count myself blessed to be on the receiving end of that gift.

Thank you Roxy! Mmmm. Pain is hard, I wish you ease.
Very interesting how our brains work….and very interesting insights you have… thx for sharing and beautiful pictures too!!❤️😍👍
Thank you Aunt Sharon! Ah, I used to always say "it's scary in there" but maybe it's really just beautiful?
Yes, I get it but think it’s beautiful ❤️😍👍🙏

Love you too❤️😍
Lovely as always...a real treat!
Well it's not black bears and humming birds but I'll take it! :) Thanks Ken
The black bears think they're hummingbirds!
Who needs a long tongue when you can just rip the top off?

I love this - the "front edge of the change of seasons". That's what it is here too! So glad you had rain and no wildfires.
Beautiful photos, as always. What struck me this week is your style of writing - it is wonderful…as I see it!
Thank you Jack, so much.
I am so glad your brain has this feature, and that your heart has the generosity to share your perspectives with the rest of us.
