I'm so sorry you're in pain, but glad you're finding respite. I miss seeing indigo buntings! Thanks for that, and sharing your keen observations of animals large and small. I really loved your dragonfly photo.
I love how vulnerable this is. Pain is so wild right? I always think about this thich nhat hanh idea of non-toothache and I think you capture it here perfectly. Hope there is less pain soon!
Thank you! Ah, and I notice too how I try to be "not vulnerable" - like "I have conquered this" when it isn't true. Pain is wild - and though I'd prefer not to experience it, it seems to be a given in this thing we call life.
Happy to know you are improving through gratitude you thought you had lost. Well it was was there all the time. Continue on your journey of healing and grateful viewer of your photography and writings! Blessings and Peace. Lydia
So glad you are feeling better! There is nothing like pain to make us feel grateful when it abates even a little. My yoga teacher has an instruction that has become a mini-practise I do periodically during the day. For just a moment, I notice where my body is touching a surface and being supported (chair, floor, bed etc.) and I ask, "Could I let go a little more into gravity?" What's amazing is that I always can! (Amazing because I am already sitting, standing or lying down.) Sending love and prayers for continued healing. And. . .when I heard the news re: the Kansas vote I was so stunned I spoke out loud to the radio, "Kansas you are tempting me to have faith in humanity once again!"
Yeah, I love this. I've been laying down many times lately asking exactly that question, where can I let go a little more (I always can too!). I love you said that out loud! It's looking a lot like it was the young women who carried the day - may they do more of this in more places!
Wonderful, wonderful! Both your pain progress and your beautiful "attitude of gratitude." And your dear sweet dad, who should be canonized to sainthood! He obviously loves you very much, lucky girl! May your coming week be as blessed as the last. May you keep discovering all the beauty of what is!

Thank you Aunt Sharon. I hope you are feeling better too?
Yes I’m feeling better too… no crutches, no limping… but still walk slower and can’t qyiue take a long stride… so need to start stretching now👍❤️
Ah, I understand that. The tightness in my leg is in the hamstring too. Gentle and slow as you start working towards it! Hugs, I love you.
❤️👍😍
