Thank you for that respite in the sunny snow country. When we lived in Truckee, we'd have blizzards that would last for days. When the sun finally came out and we had dug ourselves out of our houses, walking around in the sunshine and finding tracks in the snow was an absolutely joy. It reminded us of why we lived there. The snow used to get several feet high, but I don't know about that now. Truckee has warmed up considerably over the past couple of decades. When we moved out of the house there on January 13th, it was raining. What a mess.
